The Baltic Shipyard has completed the inclining test conducted as part of the mooring tests of the Academic Lomonosov world’s first floating nuclear power plant (FNPP).
Designed for transportation of crude oil, gas condensate and oil products of specific density 0.7−1.0 t/m3 with a possibility of simultaneous loading, handling and unloading three types of cargo.
Shuttle ice oil ship with icebreaker bow shape, with excessive freeboard, forecastle and aftercastle, accommodation superstructure and machine space located in aft, standard cargo manifolds amidship and loading gear in the fore to operate with outboard export terminals.
It is equipped with motion and positioning system with two steering pods and two fore horizontal thrusters.
