Patrol ship

The ship is designed to guard territorial waters, patrol the 200-mile exclusive economic zone in the open and closed seas, counter smuggling and piracy activities, search for and provide assistance to victims of maritime disasters, carry out environmental monitoring. In wartime, it escorts ships and vessels in transit, as well as protects naval bases and water areas in order to alert of hostile attacks.

Severnaya Verf Launches Third Fishing Trawler

Severnaya Verf Shipyard (part of USC) has laid down the Project 170701 fishing trawler Captain Ostashkov, which will be built for Karelian Seafood JSC (part of the NOREBO Group). The vessel will be handed over to the customer in 2021.
